The Path Less Traveled
Sage Spa Living was founded in October 2003 in Bozeman, Montana with $1000 and the simple vision of changing the world, one guest at a time. Today, the company owns and operates Sage in Bozeman, Montana, handcrafts the Sageborn™ all natural product line and has donated thousands of dollars and countless hours to community organizations.

About the Founders / Owners:
Stephanie Bigart
Stephanie is a licensed esthetician, a certified yoga instructor, a graduate of the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis and a graduate of the University of Montana with a degree in Communications. She was named the Top Female Small Business Owner for 2009 by the Montana Chamber of Commerce. Prior to co-founding Sage, she spent time in management for the Gap Corporation and as a Clinical Esthetician. Today, with nearly a decade of experience in the spa and retail industries, her perspectives and strategies in regards to spa leadership, operational best practices, retailing and community stewardship are truly visionary.
When not working she is mostly like found running, skiing or traveling with her husband and their dogs, Emma and Olive.
Justin Bigart
Justin is a graduate of the University of Montana with degrees in Finance and Information Systems and, prior to co-founding Sage, he was a software developer and a founding member of a technology consulting firm in San Francisco. Today, Justin splits his time driving the technology and marketing behind Sage, running his Software-as-a-Service company, Wisetail™ and spending as much time as possible trail running, biking, skiing and traveling.
Our Values at Work:
Sage is committed to making a positive impact in our communities and in the lives of people who make Montana such a great place to live, work and play through our Healthy Communities, Jobs By Design and Earth Day programs. To accomplish this goal, each month we open our doors and provide complimentary services for a not-for-profit organization or volunteer group doing exceptional work in the community.

To-date Sage has worked with the following organizations across Montana: Bridger Ski Foundation, American Wildlands, Hand Me Down Some Silver, The Tributary Fund, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Montana, Gallatin Valley Food Bank, Eagle Mount, Reach Inc, Special Olympics Montana, Gallatin Valley Land Trust, Red Cross, Boys and Girls Club, Hearts of the Valley Animal Shelter, Battered Women's Shelter of Bozeman, Gallatin County Rest Home, Prevent Child Abuse, Hearts and Homes, Montana Job Service and many more.
