sage began as a single day spa opened in 2003 by justin and stephanie bigart, two twenty-something entrepreneurs with nothing to lose and the simple – yet lofty – goal of changing the world, one guest at a time from bozeman, montana.
on the journey to achieving this goal, it became evident that a community-focused day spa could be an exceptional vehicle to inspire health and promote stewardship while also performing well financially when operated effectively.
after 5 years, 3 company owned locations across montana and an entrepreneurial search for the growth path with the greatest impact, the sage ecosystem™ was born. creative freedom, meaning and community have now been brought to franchising.
